The song was shot in the rain in a very bold way and the actress was also shown crawling in the rain water to showcase her feminine beauty.
‘Tip Tip Barsa Paani’ was sung by Udut Narayan and Ilka Yagnik and is still considered one of the popular songs. ‘Tip Tip Barsa Paani’ was also remade and included in Akshay Kumar’s 2021 film ‘Sooryavanshi’ and the new song featured Katrina Kaif alongside him, but the audience did not like the new song.
Now 21 years after the release of the song, Raveena Tandon has revealed that she even fell ill during the shooting of the said song. Raveena Tandon participated in the latest episode of the dance musical show ‘India’s Best Dance Season 3’, where the dancers performed on her popular songs.

The actress said that the said song was shot near a newly constructed building, where nails, stones and other pointed objects were lying on the ground and the floor was torn up. According to Raveena Tandon, there was artificial rain during the song and the skin fell off her knees during the performance.
Also, the actress said that as she was performing barefoot and several times she danced backwards, due to which several nails got into her feet during the shoot. According to Raveena Tandon, due to shooting the song in continuous rain, she also fell ill and got a bacterial infection and had to undergo multiple injections.
The actress said that after the shooting of the song was completed, she developed a fever of 102 which lasted for a few days.
