'Humsafar' completes 12 years, Mahira's new project with Fawad Khan is expected to be released soon

On the completes of 12 years of the popular past drama ‘Humsafar’, actress Mahira Khan thanked her fans for their love and support and said that her new project ‘Nilufar’ with actor Fawad Khan will release soon.

Mahira Khan shared the picture on social platform X and wrote, ‘Humsafar has been 12 years Completes, thank you so much for your love during this time, but for my next project ‘Nilufar’ you have to wait. We have worked very hard. ‘
He expressed his confidence and said ‘I hope that Nilofar will be successful.’

The popular past drama serial ‘Humsafar’ aired in 2011, the story of the drama is based on a novel by the famous writer Farhat Ishtiaq and directed by Sarmad Khost.

Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan played the lead roles in the drama while Atiqa Udho, Hina Khawaja Bayat, Behroz Sabzwari, and Noor Hasan Rizvi played supporting roles. The romantic drama serial was not only popular in Pakistan but also in other countries including India and Bangladesh.

After which the on-screen pairing of Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan became immensely popular, apart from the story of the drama, its Original Sound Track (OST) composed by Waqar Ali and sung by singer Qaratul Ain became quite popular. Baloch hummed in his voice,

Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan came together in the film Maula Jatt after Humsafar and now after a long time they will be seen again in their new project ‘Nilufar’. The shooting of the film Nilofar was going on for a long time, but its release date has not been announced yet.

The story of Nilufar is written by Amar Rasool and he is also directing the film while Qasim Mohammad is producing it.
