Showbiz first earnings were 500 rupees, Imran Ashraf

Popular actor, writer, and TV host Imran Ashraf has revealed that his first earnings from working in showbiz was Rs 500, of which he gave Rs 300 to his mother. Imran Ashraf also worked as a child artiste but then disappeared from the screen for a long time and after 2010 became a part of the showbiz industry again.

He has acted in several popular dramas till now while he also played a role in a movie called ‘Dum Mastam’. Imran Ashraf is one of the most popular, busy, and expensive actors in showbiz and now earns millions of rupees, however, he revealed that his first earnings were Rs 500.

Imran Ashraf recently participated in the comedy show ‘Had Kurdi’, where he openly talked about his personal life as well as showbiz. He said that after working as a child artiste in his childhood, he got busy in his life and never thought of acting.

According to him, his father is a banker and he held a high position while also being the president of a bank, but when he fell on hard times, he thought of taking a job. Imran Ashraf said that after his father’s difficult situation, he was going to work for a friend in Lahore when he got a call from a producer from Karachi he asked him to work in the play and then told him about his latest ask to send pictures.

According to him, the drama producer who called him was the one who had cast him as a child artist as a child. The actor said that at that time he did not know or realize how much Pakistani dramas are watched and then he came to Karachi.

Imran Ashraf said that when he stayed in the Defense area of ​​Karachi during the shooting of the drama, then the teaser of his drama was released which was seen by the locals and everyone told him that his drama was being aired.

According to him, on that day he realized how much Pakistani dramas are watched and then he came to know that Pakistani dramas are watched and loved not only in Pakistan but also in foreign countries. He gave the example that Pakistani dramas are trending in India, which means there is a dearth of good drama makers despite having so much talent.

In response to a question in the program, he said that he was asked by the producer Angeline Malik to write a play with a writer, and at first, the writer kept sheltering him but then he flatly refused, on which he wrote the play himself on the advice of someone else. He gave it to them.

He said that when the script written by him was read by the director, he understood that the said script was written by Imran Ashraf and thus he also became a writer. Imran Ashraf also talked about his personal life in the program and said that now the only goal of his life is the better upbringing of his son.

At the same time, he said that his sons are lucky that their father as well as their mother is ready to sacrifice everything for their better upbringing. When asked about their first earnings, Imran Ashraf said that he had earned Rs 500 from the first telefilm, of which he gave Rs 300 to his mother and spent Rs 200 on himself.

He said that between 2006 and 2010, if a child was given 200 rupees, it was a lot of money for them and they also ate French fries and other things for 200 rupees for four to five days. Although he stated that he received Rs 500 as his first earnings, he did not clarify whether the said amount was his entire compensation or half of it.
