Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) politician Raghav Chadha tied the knot last night. According to the Indian newspaper ‘India Today’, guests from foreign countries, including India, arrived in Udaipur, Rajasthan, to attend the wedding of Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha, where the wedding ceremonies were held at the luxurious and historic venue The Leela Palace.
The wedding celebrations were going on for the past few days in which their mehendi, haldi, music concert, and other events were held. Yesterday, Raghu Chadha took a procession from the Taj Lake Palace to the Leela Palace on boats to take the bride, the couple took a bath as per Hindu customs.
Actress Parineeti Chopra also shared beautiful pictures of her wedding ceremony on Instagram.
In the pictures, it can be seen that Parineeti opted for a gold and off-white color wedding ensemble while the bride appeared in an off-white color sherwani.
Parineeti’s ensemble is designed by renowned celebrity designer Manish Malhotra. Sharing the pictures, Parineeti wrote, ‘From the very first chat at the breakfast table, our hearts knew, we were waiting for this day for a long time.’
Earlier, the couple also held a short post-wedding party where Parineeti Chopra could be seen in a simple yet charming pink saree, while Raghav Chadha, on the other hand, wore black coat pants and a white shirt.
Parineeti’s cousin and actress Priyanka Chopra and her husband Nick Jonas did not attend the wedding. Tennis star Sania Mirza, Harbhajan Singh, and Manish Malhotra among other Bollywood personalities attended the couple’s wedding ceremony.
The marriage of both of them was attended by the Chief Minister of the Indian capital New Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister of Indian Punjab, and other politicians.
It should be noted that Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha got engaged at the beginning of May this year after being in a relationship for some time and the actress confirmed the relationship by sharing pictures 10 days after the engagement.
