Famous actress and model Amina Ilyas says that when she was only 15 years old, she accompanied her sister to her face shoot and was selected for modeling there. Amna Ilyas recently appeared on Sama TV’s comedy show Hadad Kurdi where she talked about her early career, relationship with actress Meera and interesting incidents.
At the beginning of the program, when asked by the host Momin Saqib, model Amna Ilyas said that when she was 15 years old, she accompanied her sister Uzma Ilyas to a fashion shoot. She said that ‘I went to a fashion shoot with my sister, I was fair in complexion and very thin in size, I was wearing a frock, I was on the set during my sister’s shoot and I was very shy.’
He said that the renowned photographer and make-up artist Akif Ilyas on the set saw me and took some pictures of me which were very beautiful. Amina Ilyas said that she shared those photos with her mother and entered the showbiz industry as a model with her consent.
He said that his first shoot as a model was for the famous magazine ‘She’. The famous model talked about her relationship with film star Meera, saying that she has a very good relationship with Meera ji, while she is friends with Meera ji, there have been many fights as well.
He said that he had many fights with Meeraji on the sets, for example, sometimes there was an argument about the script and sometimes about the clothes, but in the end they reconciled. He also said that nowadays actors are being given roles based on their talent rather than their beauty, which is a good thing.
Amina Ilyas said that ‘Every human being is beautiful, the actor who is playing the role well should be cast for that’. It should be noted that Amina Ilyas started her career with modeling and she celebrated herself by walking on the ramp at an early age.
After making a name for herself in the modeling world, Amina Ilyas appeared in TV commercials, after which she surprisingly acted on the big screen before the small screen and her first film ‘Zinda Bhaag‘ was released in 2013. As soon as the first movie was released, the doors of the new world opened for Amina Ilyas and she started appearing in dramas after movies and later she also worked in theaters and captivated people with her acting.
Although fans consider Amina Ilyas to be a good actress, she herself admits that till now she gets nervous going in front of the camera and never thought that she would become an actress. Amina Ilyas was last seen on the big screen in the 2019 hit film ‘Baaji’ while she appeared on the small screen in 2017.
