Arshad Sharif was killed in October 2022 in the African country of Kenya and the investigation of his murder has not been completed yet.

Aliza Arshad is the daughter of the late journalist’s first wife Samia Arshad and she started her career as a staff reporter of a news channel from the capital Islamabad.
Arshad Sharif had four children from his first wife, out of which his daughter and son Ali Arshad are over 18 years old.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shehbaz Gul also retweeted Aliza Arshad’s reporting video and wished her well.Addressing Arshad Sharif’s daughter Aliza Arshad Sharif in a tweet, he further wrote that ‘Your father was a great man, Inshallah you will make his name famous one day’.
Renowned journalist and anchor Sabir Shakir also praised the daughter of a fellow journalist and wished her well.
Journalist and anchor Fareeha Idris also expressed good wishes for Aliza Arshad and prayed for her development.
Apart from well-known journalists and politicians, common social media users also expressed good wishes for Arshad Sharif’s daughter and prayed for her better future and safety.
Aliza Arshad created an account on Twitter in June 2021 and has more than 28 thousand followers on it.
She keeps sharing dad’s memories on Twitter, she also keeps sharing updates about dad’s case including sharing old pictures and videos of dad.
Like Aliza Arshad, her brother Ali Arshad also created an account on Twitter in June 2021 and continues to share memories of his father there.
It should be noted that Arshad Sharif had two marriages, his second wife Jawaria Siddique is also related to journalism.
