Famous model and actress Momina Iqbal has said that when someone makes a wrong comment on her social media post, she feels like someone has teased her sister and she defends her sister as a brother. The actress recently participated in the comedy show ‘Had Kurdi’, where she opened up about various issues including her showbiz career.
He said that his family is of Kashmiri origin, but he was born in Lahore, the capital of Punjab, and grew up there. According to Momina Iqbal, before she started modeling, she used to work in ‘hospitality’, but then she started modeling quietly, hiding from her family, which angered her family.
The actress said that most of all her father was angry with her but then he convinced her by begging her. Speaking during the program, the actress claimed that she had not cast her vote in the 2018 general elections because she had not turned 18 by then. Momina Iqbal added that now she is 18 years old but this time she has no intention to cast her vote as she dislikes all politicians.
In response to a question, he also gave details about the terrible plane crash in May 2023. She said that she was going from Karachi to her home in Lahore after completing the shooting in Gadani city of Balochistan and that the plane started stuttering during the journey.
According to him, Wahaj Ali, Hania Aamir, and other actors including him were also present in the said plane and the plane was jerking more during the journey, due to which it seemed several times that the plane would fall.
Momina Iqbal said that due to the constant shaking of the plane, all passengers including her started reciting Kalma Tayyab and Kalma Shahadat and everyone thought that the plane would fall, but thank God all the passengers reached their destination safely. It should be noted that Momina Iqbal and other actors related to the said incident had vaguely mentioned it in social media posts in May 2023.
During the show, Momina Iqbal said on the question of marriage that she will not marry any man from the showbiz industry. Talking about the experiences of working in showbiz, Momina Iqbal said that no inappropriate incident has ever happened to her, but there are small incidents.The actress said that it usually happens that during the shoot, senior actors want their scenes to be shot first.
While praising senior actor Javed Sheikh, she said that while working with him, she was worried about how she would act in front of him, and surprisingly, because of her, Javed Sheikh had to retake the shoot several times. Momina Iqbal said that she does not understand why she is given mostly negative roles and also said that some people consider her to have negative thoughts in real life like the characters.
When asked about trolling on social media, Momina Iqbal said that usually there are not many negative comments on her posts, but if they do, she gets very angry. Momina Iqbal said that when there are too many wrong comment on her post, she feels like someone has teased her sister and she responds to the critics by being the brother of the said sister.
