Mahira Khan last acted in 2021 in the drama ‘Hum Kahan Ke Sache Haye’ after which she has not acted in any drama, however, she was seen on the big screen in the film ‘Mola Jatt’ which was released in October 2022. .
Returning to the small screen after a long time, she will be seen in Express Entertainment’s new series Razia, which explores the harsh reality of being a woman in Pakistan.
Mahira Khan had released a teaser earlier this week in which she wrote, ‘When I heard the story, I immediately gave a hearty yes, grateful to be a part of this story.’
Now the trailer of the series has been released yesterday, Mahira Khan shared the video of the trailer on her Instagram account and wrote that ‘Every woman I know is Razia, looks like Razia or has met Razia, this story. For all of us, that represents us.’
The short series is directed by Mohsin Ali and produced by Hina Aman while other famous actors like Momal Sheikh, Mohib Mirza, Shehzad Malik, and Parveen Akbar are among the cast of the series.
